Live Cricket BPL Reveals Real’s Fullback Plans

After clinching their record 15th UEFA Champions League title, Real Madrid have once again proven their dominance across Europe. As Live Cricket BPL notes, this season saw Los Blancos rise above all expectations, capturing both the La Liga and Champions League trophies in a remarkable double triumph. But for Real Madrid, success is never the end — it’s simply the foundation for the next step. With Kylian Mbappé finally arriving, the club is already preparing to upgrade again, this time focusing on their aging and thin fullback positions.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti has identified defensive reinforcement as a top priority — a point many Madrid fans agree on. The current fullback lineup is either too old or lacking in depth, and the club is determined to fix it. According to Live Cricket BPL insiders, the Madrid hierarchy has drawn up a list of targets for Ancelotti to consider, including one familiar face: Achraf Hakimi. A former academy product, Hakimi is reportedly eager to return to the Bernabéu, especially now that his close friend Mbappé is set to depart PSG — leaving Paris far less appealing in his eyes.

However, tensions between PSG and Real Madrid, particularly due to the Mbappé saga, could complicate negotiations. PSG is unlikely to let Hakimi go without a fight, and if their valuation is excessive, Madrid will simply walk away — extravagant fees are not their style. As a result, Hakimi’s return may prove difficult.

Another name on the list is Reece James. While Ancelotti didn’t coach James directly during his time at Chelsea, he’s reportedly a strong admirer of the English fullback’s skillset and sees him as the ideal long-term successor to Dani Carvajal. A move to the Bernabéu could offer James a fresh start after a difficult few seasons at Stamford Bridge, where injuries and instability have disrupted his momentum.

Then there’s Alphonso Davies, long rumored to be on Madrid’s radar. According to Live Cricket BPL sources, Davies hasn’t publicly committed to staying at Bayern Munich and seems mentally checked out. Bayern, meanwhile, is pushing for a clear answer — either a concrete transfer offer or a commitment to stay and renew. Madrid may wait until his contract winds down next year, but Bayern won’t make it easy or cheap.

Also in contention is Theo Hernández, another former Madrid player who has flourished at AC Milan and now serves as their vice-captain. Theo has expressed a desire to return to the Bernabéu, a move that has excited many Madrid fans. Compared to Hakimi, Theo’s transfer is more feasible, provided Milan is willing to negotiate.

That said, Milan has reportedly set an €80 million price tag, which may be too steep. Complicating matters further, Bayern Munich is also interested in Theo, positioning themselves as Madrid’s biggest rival in the chase. The left-back himself has indicated he will make a decision after the upcoming European Championship.

If Real Madrid can pull off a dual signing of Hakimi and Theo — forming a devastating fullback tandem — and add that to Mbappé’s arrival, Live Cricket BPL believes next season’s squad could be one of the most fearsome in modern football.
